Our auto rental's doors unexpectedly locked with all of our belongings in the vehicle, minutes after parking to join the 2020 Gasparilla Parade - one of Tampa Bay's biggest events when it is near impossible to drive close to the venue. Those belongings included our wallets, and supplies for our entire group, including four children. Freddy from Security Lock Systems somehow made it to us in record time to rescue us from the turmoil that would have been the entire day, had he not made it to unlock our door. He was not only our hero, but was so polite and quick to get the job done that I couldn't miss the opportunity to rave about the quality of service he provided. Stay away from this company at all cost!! If they damage your car they will find a way to say it’s not their fault. This is what happened.. one of their techs came out (late) to make me a key and program it. While the tech was working l left him unattended to go inside my house for a sort amount of time and when I got back to see what’s going on he had his jumper cables hooked up to my battery. I didn’t ask him for that and my battery had plenty of voltage had he checked. So now the locksmith is wrapping up his work and removes his jumper cables... and asked me to test out his key that he made for my car before he left (at this point he has my money in his hand and gave me a receipt for his completed work).. I did what he asked and guess what...the key didn’t work! Then he attempted to reprogram the new key again and he couldn’t get it working so he gave me my money back and said I can’t get it working because you have a fried computer chip and told me to take it to the dealership.. long story short, I took it to the dealership and they said the computer chip was not fried and they just had to make a new key and program it... and what makes matters worst is I found my original key the following day after the locksmith/tech guy damaged my car and that key didn’t work. If I never called this company to come out and work on my car, I could have just used my original key and not been out hundreds of dollars and weeks without my car..read more

Mike was very communicative prior to showing up in a timely manner, and took on the job (cutting/programming a transponder key) skillfully and cheerfully. Made one of life's most irritating moments (after landing, realizing you lost the only key to your car parked in the airport econ parking) somewhat tolerable. He was extremely nice, informative, and personable. He did not make us feel like he was in a rush to get the job done, but willing to even help set up my keyless entry.
